It has been a rather busy weekend for me, ok not really busy, rather eventful.
Went for a movie yesterday- the interpreter.
Not a bad movie I guess, the acting is good however the plot seems to have a few loopholes here and there.
I still don't quite understand the whole story, but it doesn't really matter all you need is a vague idea who is good and who is bad and that's enough.
So watch this show with you brain at home, don't think too much and enjoy it for what it is, good acting with plenty of human emotion and interaction.

Been five days since I started messaging her, I think everything is coming along fine. Its surprising that she is so easy to talk to despite us not really knowing each other. I hope I don't jump into anything prematurely with any assumptions. But she seems really nice and I guess a good friend to have.
We chatted till three last night talking about stuff that really had no value, just crap and stuff. Just a light hearted conversation seemingly between pals who have known each other for ages. But ironically we have not even met.
Liking someone I have not met have not seen, it seems I fallen in love with a person for not how she looks but for who she is. Scared that if I see her my whole impression would evaporate from this realm of perfection to one of harsh reality.

Hey guys! Weird huh? I am actually blogging on a weekday.
Yeh, I am on MC and would be due back in PA at night, just thought I would relax with a little blogging.
Had a high fever yesterday, so I reported sick. The procedure for reporting sick in PA is completely different from Tekong. We don't have a MO (medical officer) so basically this van comes along and sends you to Toa Payoh polyclinic. I have never been to a polyclinic before so for me it was quite a unique experience, luckily there was this one guy reporting sick too so he some sort of guided me through the process.
Then something weird happened while I was in the pharmacy getting my medicine the Malay girl at the counter, the pharmacist or nurse- whatever you call them, asked me if I was from Huamin primary school.
I was like what the hell, how did you know. I gave this spastic look on my face and asked how did she know. She then said that she remembered me being in the EM1 class and that she was in EM3, Man I mean I have not even seen her before in my life, or rather I have seen her but just don't remember. Yeh so I just gaped and stared blankly for a few seconds before saying a meek goodbye and proceeded to call for the police van back to PA.
I mean how often do you get that, someone who recognizes you but you don't know who the hell they are, and furthermore it was all the way back in primary school. That was 6 years ago. Do I really still look like the way I was back in p 6??

Yesterday was also the day for the 'b'division boys rugby third place playoff and finals. SJI unfortunately lost to Unity Secondary, too bad I was not around to watch the match however I did managed to catch up with one of my teachers who I bumped into on my way out of PA for home. Glad to know he still recognized me and even praised me in front of my juniors, haha "soon to become inspector". Felt good after that.

Yeh I think I have written too long going off now.....

Yeh its Sunday again, the weekend just seemed to whizz by.
Whoever said how time flies when you are having fun, is so damn correct.
As stupid as it sounds time seems to move at varying speeds. It moves super fast during the weekends but bloody hell slowly during lessons or while one is at work.
Every weekend its always the same case for me, desperately hanging on to ever freaking second.
Well I guess this weekend was quite eventful as compared to my other weekends.
Had dinner at Jack's Place with my family on Saturday, yep, ate a hell lot and of course the bill was quite enormous. I mean we are not very rich family or anything so a hundred plus bill for dinner is quite rare.
I have to applaud the aunt who took our order though, she just kept on speaking and speaking non-stop, you know the type of people you want to say stop and let me think but they just go on on on on on on.......................
Yeh so she kept introducing all this stuff like fruit juices and salads and before we can say anything she would go like, yes ok?Yes?Yes??.
She was not even asking a question!, all we could do was look back blankly and nod our head and there we just ordered an extra side order. Some sort of hypnotic power.
yeh..
Its kind of sad sometimes back in camp when you know everyone is messaging furiously and freak you have no one to message too. Its not like you don't have friends or anything but its sometimes like, what do I say, and wouldn't it be weird if I just messaged someone out of the blue.
It gets kind of depressing after a while, being out of touch with the world.
And the worse part is when you are finally free on the weekend you have nothing to do, so to you guys if I have been like pestering you or something to go on, hope you don't mind yeh.
Well see you guys next week, off to police academy.

Its the weekend again! Whoooooooooo!
It has been a rather tiring week, not physically tiring but rather mentally tiring.
Been having a lot of lectures on police procedure and the penal code, quite interesting though.
However its quite ironic that whilst it states that in the penal code that intentionally causing the miscarriage of one's unborn child is chargeable with a ten year sentence, abortion is still legal in Singapore.
I mean isn't it really the same thing?

How is killing an unborn child different from killing a child, the truth is there is no difference. Both are living beings, with their individual characteristics and personalities, each possess a soul a life, a gift.
To deny or destroy a life on the basis of inconvenience is unjustifiable.
The main debate centers mainly around the question when does life begin.
Is it when the central nervous system begins to form or when fertilization takes place.
However if we continue to debate over this question, we are really missing the main focus of this abortion issue.
That is the irresponsibility of society. The fact that we are indulging in sex without the thought of consequence or basis for our actions.
Basis which is entirely wrong that sex is now not out of love but lust and consequence which is the creation of a human life.
Its an altogether beautiful thing but somehow we have defiled it that is now seen as an act of shame than that of sacredness and love.
