Just logged in to friendster just now got a message from some girl in KL wanting to be friends.
I was like WTF?
Never knew I looked so shuai in my photo. BHB
After the initial shock and surprise, it just became a bit scary, what if 'she' is really some guy.........
Now I am not homophobic or anything but, I think you know what I mean.
Seems that I am some how connected to her through a third degree, but even then, don't tell me I am that good looking.
Have to be careful so I don't break anyone's heart unintentionally. With great handsomeness comes great responsibility.

Anyway its day 7 and bloody hell the two pimples on my nose are still there, must be too stressed with all these prelim nonsense.
However though I may not want to admit it, the prelims are closing and I have not actually seriously got down to work, not my fault though, just no motivation.

But no...... From now on I will change Jason has switched to study mode....ermm maybe after the Olympics.

Olympics 2004 has be gun, sad to say however Susilo is out.
Losing in the quarter finals 15-10, 15-1
credit to him however, he gave his best, luck was just not on his side.
He can take pride in him beating the Chinese world no. 1 dud in the first round.
Well done.
Now lets support the ping pong women's team!

So far the events have been amazing, especially the big showdown between Thorpe and Phelps, not to mention Hoogenband in the 200m freestyle, bloody good show.
Can't wait for athletics to start though, heard that there's this Japanese runner that runs using the nanja technique. That is to run with your right and and right leg in one motion and vice versa.

Used to dream of going to the Olympics, of course the reality of which is impossible now. Guess I can only be a supporter.

Vieira is staying, good news for all Arsenal fans, looks like we are going to win again!!!
Spent my entire Saturday in school, what a waste...
Of course, the tests were for our own good.

Thursday, August 12, 2004

Damn I have three tests on Saturday, food chem, bio, and a mock prelim paper.
How am I supposed to finish studying? In addition to that I still have so many bloody tutorials..Think I will pon school tomorrow, if my mother allows me.
Should have started studying during the national day holidays, but well that's the beauty of hindsight isn't it.

So Singapore Idol is up and running, heard some rumors that the "crying girl" was from my school, not sure whether it is true or not. Never seen her before, but then again I do not know many people in school.

Have been doing a little reading over the weekend, Romance of the three kingdoms, I bought the books way back in secondary one but have never really gotten down to reading them, well better late than never.

Hmmm what more can I say??

Well 'the village' is cool, my opinion of course..........
Oh yeah, I was eating at Mac just down, had this sudden craving for a cheeseburger... Not sure why. Anyway Mac has started printing the nutritional facts of their burgers and stuff on that piece of paper they put on the tray yea, well all I can say is that their meals are not very nutritional. Then again they are only figures, but however when you eat a apple pie that contains saturated fat and cholesterol, it just makes you think " what the hell am I eating?"
Of course Mac is all into healthy living, they are selling apples.......
Doesn't make sense to me though, this thing about Mac promoting healthy living.
If you are stuffing yourself with fat and cholesterol, I don't see how eating an apple will help.
Basically the fact is that people go to fast food restaurants to pig out, not to enjoy a salad, come on man if I was health conscious I would not be caught dead in a fast food restaurant.
Mac is about meat, fries and burgers, lets keep it that way.

Signing out.

National day, happy 39th birthday Singapore!!!!
nothing much today, was sleeping most of the time, had a long day yesterday.
Was at my niece's birthday party at the coastal sands resort in Pasir Ris, barbecue and stuff quite fun.
Got to talk with my cousins too.
hmmmm other than that it seems like I have not much to write these few days, nothing much happening.

Oh yea Singapore idol!
not a bad show, did not know Singapore had so many nerdy looking people who are so thick skin, especially the lemon tree guy.
Brave guy, but I feel he is just some cheap rip off of William Hung, well I guess every country needs a fool for entertainment.

Man it has been one busy week, so much work but at least I have a four day weekend, yea.
So I went to watch the Village yesterday and contrary to what many people may say I found it to be an excellent movie.
Full of twists and turns together with superb cinematic effects, the show is not only frightening but touching and hilarious at times.
Not going to spoil the movie for any of you, just go watch it, you won't be disappointed.

Oh yeah another great show to watch is Gundam Seed, its a Japanese anime, not bad if you are into robots and stuff.

Monday, the start of a new week.
Not too excited about it though except for the long weekend we will be having. Got quite a lot of work to do today but I just don't seem to be in the mood so basically I am not going to do anything.
I will just try to act important during tutorials tomorrow, teacher scold so be it.

If I can be serious for a moment....
What this world needs is a little more generosity
a little more love
a little more trust
a little more idealism
a little less greed
a little less cynicism
a little less pessimism

that's what I feel...
Wonder why people laugh and scoff at a person who has ideals, the world today is one that sees ideals as unrealistic immature. I think not, ideals are important in shaping what you want in your life, the only way to live is to envision how you want to die.
I may set out to change the world, and though I may not do so at least I tried and maybe I succeeded in changing a few people which is better than nothing.
